Emma's new dune buggy
Which is, in actuality, a hand-me-down from her cousins. Sometimes it pays to be the last one to pop out kids. We are very grateful. Emma is thrilled.

Jack's one year check up
It went well. In actuality Jack is one year and twenty days old, so it's not an exact on year check-up. He was 22.8 lbs. and 30" long. The doctor put him exactly on the 50th percentile curve for both things.

The doctor is ready for us to start moving to whole milk and we can feed him all "people" food now. He asked us if we have a garden and promoted garden fresh food. He also is now advising people not to microwave in plastic as recent studies have shown that it can cause leaching of chemicals into the food.

Jack is physically fit. He got three shots, which didn't please him at all. I wasn't too thrilled with it either. His next appointment is in September.
