A Day at the Zoo
Today, on Memorial Day, our power company had a planned power outage from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We decided to skip the frontier living and go on a family outing. We went to the Natural Bridge Zoo. I found it to be a remarkable zoo in that the animals seemed very accessible to the visitors. It's nothing like the National Zoo where the animals are kept so far away that you're lucky to see them. We had a great time, but, boy, was it hot!
