Monkeys in the tree
These kids today...they're so dependent on their video games to pass a quiet moment. God forbid they should ever be bored...

I was so happy to hear they were outside climbing a tree. Now that's a time honored, worthy summer pursuit. Kids have been climbing trees since forever. Yay! It was the first time C's friend had ever climbed a tree, so it was a "first" to boot!

And then I was confronted with cold, hard (modern) reality. They were in the tree playing their individual Gameboys. Sheesh.
