Another one of those moments
Emma was playing with a shoestring I had taken out of her shoe. She wanted to make a necklace with it so she put it over both of my shoulders. Then she yanked it away, taking a hank of hair with it. "Owww!" I said, hamming it up a bit, "You pulled out my hair!" She stopped and got really serious "Are you OK?" I couldn't believe she said that; I had no idea she even knew that phrase. Slightly chagrined at my over-acting I said,"I'm OK, Emma, thank you for asking."

It was just another one of those light bulb moments when I realize her capabilities are miles ahead of what I give her credit for.
