Still sick
She still has the hoarse voice and occasional coughing. It sounds awful when she does cough. She had a prolonged coughing fit at bedtime last night and I just wanted to go upstairs and hold her and make it better. This morning we resorted to cough syrup. I don't think it's helping yet.
A Deviated Path
...is my life now. I was resigned to being childless after over seven years of trying. I pictured travel to Vegas and exotic locales; and buttering up my nieces and nephew so I wouldn't die alone and forgotten. Now, Surprise! I'm a mother!
