Allow me to introduce you to...
...my closest companion for the next seven months or so. An ultrasound today confirmed my due date as May 10, 2009. Heart rate was 156-160 bpm. That was the reassurance I needed to be brave enough to tell you our good news. Please say a prayer for us for a healthy baby. I'm a worrier so it will be a long seven months ahead.

A Deviated Path
...is my life now. I was resigned to being childless after over seven years of trying. I pictured travel to Vegas and exotic locales; and buttering up my nieces and nephew so I wouldn't die alone and forgotten. Now, Surprise! I'm a mother!
